Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to support the legal department in managing documentation compliance and administrative processes. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in a legal or corporate environment in Qatar and a strong understanding of local laws regulations and administrative procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and coordination support to the Legal Department.
Prepare review and process legal documents contracts and correspondence.
Coordinate with internal departments external law firms and government authorities regarding legal matters.
Ensure that all company activities comply with applicable laws regulations and internal policies.
Maintain and update legal files databases and document management systems.
Assist in drafting and proofreading contracts agreements and memoranda.
Track deadlines for renewals contract expirations and legal obligations.
Support the preparation of reports summaries and presentations for management review.
Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Legal Counsel or Department Head.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law Legal Studies or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a legal compliance or corporate affairs role within Qatar.
Good knowledge of Qatar labor laws commercial regulations and governmental procedures.
Experience in contract management documentation and legal coordination.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and document mnagement systems.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
