ob Title: Marine Operations Supervisor / Marine Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Marine Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the marine department in AY. This role involves ensuring the effective implementation of all operational duties according to rules and regulations. The Marine Operations Supervisor will supervise the crew—including deckhands and skippers—of various vessels such as small boats large boats dive boats and dhows. In addition this position requires organizing and distributing crew responsibilities for all local trips managing vessel maintenance and coordinating technical requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the operations of all marine vessels including small boats large boats dive boats and dhows.
Ensure adherence to all marine operations rules regulations and safety standards.
Supervise and organize crew distribution for local trips ensuring that all crew members (deckhands skippers) are assigned tasks effectively.
Coordinate with technical teams for the timely and accurate maintenance of boats including mechanical issues (inboard/outboard) electrical systems upholstery and other technical requests.
Ensure the towing of boats jet skis and other marine equipment to requested locations.
Handle and oversee any technical equipment requests including electrical components (e.g. radar GPS sonar) and mechanical systems.
Liaise with the local market for sourcing and purchasing necessary marine equipment and supplies.
Oversee and coordinate specialized maintenance work such as carpentry welding painting and fiberglass repairs.
Monitor vessel performance and ensure all maintenance activities are carried out on time minimizing downtime for operations.
