We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha Qatar. This position is exclusively for Qatari Nationals and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of Qatars road infrastructure.
- Develop and implement comprehensive road maintenance strategies and plans
- Conduct regular inspections of road networks to assess conditions and identify maintenance needs
- Design and oversee road repair and rehabilitation projects
- Analyze traffic patterns and recommend improvements for road safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with contractors and government agencies to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
- Prepare detailed technical reports cost estimates and project schedules
- Manage budgets and resources for road maintenance projects
- Stay updated on innovative road maintenance technologies and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
- Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and safety standards
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in road engineering and maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices with a focus on road construction and maintenance techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Thorough understanding of Qatars road standards specifications and regulations
- Familiarity with local environmental conditions affecting road maintenance
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Qatari Nationality is required for this position
