Job Title: Head of Commercial Property and Engineering
Location: Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced leader to oversee our commercial property and engineering underwriting operations. The successful candidate will drive profitable growth manage complex risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and manage commercial property and engineering underwriting operations
- Develop and implement underwriting policies and procedures
- Lead and develop a team of underwriters and support staff
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders including brokers clients and reinsurers
- Analyze and manage portfolio risk identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Insurance Business Administration or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g. ACII FCII Engineering Chartership) are desirable
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial property and engineering underwriting
- Proven leadership experience in the insurance sector
- Strong knowledge of commercial property and engineering risks policy wordings and reinsurance
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
