Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead and supervise all fabrication and manufacturing operations within the plant.
- Direct coach and develop the team of Manufacturing Engineers to ensure effective planning and execution of production activities.
- Drive adherence to quality safety and environmental standards across all manufacturing processes.
- Monitor daily production activities ensuring on-time delivery of projects to meet customer requirements.
- Review engineering drawings manufacturing plans and fabrication schedules for feasibility and alignment with resources.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of raw materials consumables and equipment.
- Work closely with Quality Control to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize production processes through lean manufacturing practices waste reduction and productivity improvements.
- Develop and track KPIs for production efficiency rework rates safety performance and on-time delivery.
- Ensure capacity planning and workforce allocation match project pipeline and deadlines.
- - Prepare and present regular reports on manufacturing performance to the Operations Director.
- Lead initiatives for training and upskilling shop personnel to strengthen technical capabilities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement safety and accountability within the plant.
Qualifications Experience & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 1520 years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing with at least 10 years in a managerial role within heavy fabrication oil & gas or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of welding fabrication machining and assembly processes.
- Experience with project-based manufacturing aligned to international and Aramco standards.
- Proven ability to lead engineers and shop teams effectively.
- Strong Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
- Strong understanding of safety environmental and quality requirements.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and decision-making skills.
