We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Director of Sales to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi this pivotal role you will be responsible for driving sales strategies managing key accounts and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
- Conduct site visits sales trips and FAM trips to promote hotel products and services
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales in setting and achieving departmental goals and budgets
- Oversee the development of compelling proposals and contracts for clients
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business prospects
- Ensure seamless communication between the sales team and other hotel departments
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance the hotels visibility
- Assist in recruiting selecting and training new sales team members
- Handle high-level client negotiations and resolve complex customer issues
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and sales strategies
- Excellent leadership communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in sales management software and MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Experience in managing and motivating high-performing sales teams
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Cultural awareness and adaptability to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel as required for sales activities and client meetings
