Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to oversee the Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy and implementation for a major mixed-use development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing BIM processes ensuring seamless integration across disciplines and driving digital innovation throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM methodologies industry standards and coordination between multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee BIM implementation across design consultants contractors and client stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) standards and protocols.
- Review validate and manage design and construction models to ensure consistency and coordination across disciplines.
- Conduct clash detection model audits and quality checks using relevant BIM tools (e.g. Navisworks Revit).
- Facilitate regular BIM coordination meetings and issue tracking between teams.
- Support digital information management and ensure deliverables align with the projects data and asset information requirements.
- Collaborate with project controls planning and cost teams for 4D and 5D BIM integration where required.
- Maintain version control and documentation for all BIM models and outputs.
- Provide technical guidance and training to project stakeholders on BIM workflows and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in MEP Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in BIM coordination including experience in a PMC or multidisciplinary project environment.
- Proficient in Revit Navisworks AutoCAD and BIM 360 / ACC.
- Good understanding of ISO 19650 standards and BIM documentation protocols.
- Experience with major construction or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Proven experience in implementing 4D/5D simulations developing data-driven dashboards using Power BI and leveraging AI technologies to enhance project delivery and efficiency within the AEC industry is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
