We areseeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled IVI System Tester tojoin our automotive software testing team. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for validating and verifying In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systemsto ensure optimal performance usability and compliance with industrystandards
Role Description:
- Design and execute test cases for IVI systems including multimedia navigation connectivity and HMI features.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into validation strategies.
- Perform functional regression and system-level testing on embedded infotainment ECUs.
- Analyze logs and report defects using standard tools (e.g. Jira ALM).
- Collaborate with development and integration teams to resolve issues.
- Perform integration and functional testing of embedded systems.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety regulations.
- Support continuous improvementof validation methodologies and tools
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering Computer Science Mechatronics or related field.
- 3 years of experience in system validation or automotive testing.
- Strong understanding of automotive system architecture and validation processes.
- Solid understanding and relevant experience in testing In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems.
- Familiarity with tools like CANoe Vector tools Jira and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent in software testing.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 andASPICE standards
- ValidB1 license and willingness to travel if required
