Structural Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a Structural Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings and structures throughout the region.

• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings bridges and other structures to assess their structural integrity and compliance with local and international building codes
• Analyze blueprints technical drawings and specifications to ensure construction adheres to approved plans
• Perform on-site inspections during various stages of construction to verify proper implementation of structural elements
• Identify structural deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of findings
• Collaborate with engineers architects and contractors to address structural issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest building codes regulations and industry best practices
• Utilize structural analysis software to assess complex structural systems
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior inspectors and team members
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local construction practices

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Relevant certifications such as ICC Structural Inspector certification are highly desirable
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and ability to interpret complex technical data
• In-depth knowledge of building codes regulations and construction materials and methods
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and familiarity with local construction practices
• Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to various construction sites within the Riyadh area
