DS Agile Engineer Riyadh (6-Month Contract Possible Extension)

We are seeking a results-driven DS Agile Engineer with proven expertise in GE DS Agile software (V5V7) and substation automation systems. This role requires a seasoned professional to configure test and commission DS Agile systems while ensuring compliance with IEC protocols and client requirements.

Responsibilities

Plan site activities with team leader and align with customer schedule
Configure and modify GE DS Agile software on-site (V5 V6 V7)
Install and implement DS Agile servers clients and gateways
Test digital/analog signals synchro check interlocks ACSE-ACCS logics
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports with team leader
Communicate customer modification needs with stakeholders
Troubleshoot hardware and network issues

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum 4-5 years experience in testing & commissioning of Electrical Automation Systems
Hands-on with GE DS Agile (V5 V6 V7)
Strong knowledge of IEC61850 Modbus IEC101/104 protocols
Experience in EHV/HV/MV substations
Strong English communication & reporting skills
Valid electrical safety/substation certifications and SEC approvals preferred
Saudi nationals or candidates with a valid transferable Iqama/visa who can mobilize quickly will be given priority. Immediate availability whether based locally or able to relocate is a strong advantage.
