Accountant Beirut Lebanon Full-Time Up to $1300

This role blends junior and mid-level responsibilities perfect for someone who wants to start by supporting operations and grow into owning the full accounting cycle within a dynamic environment spanning property management leasing and diversified assets.

The Role

Youll work closely with the CEO and delegated CFO to ensure the financial health of the groups operations and assets. Your work will touch multiple entities projects and currencies from managing daily transactions to preparing monthly reports and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations across entities (AP AR invoicing payments)
• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals prepayments payroll and petty cash
• Perform bank and inter-company reconciliations and support FX revaluations
• Assist in month-end closing financial reporting and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate general ledgers and ensure data integrity
• Prepare VAT filings coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance
• Track fixed assets acquisitions disposals and depreciation schedules
• Support cash-flow management budget tracking and financial forecasts

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• 25 years of professional accounting experience
• Solid understanding of double-entry accounting and reporting principles
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting software
• Experience with multi-entity or real estate portfolios is a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proactive reliable and eager to take ownership of deliverables
