To provide various regulatory reporting services for Tanzania with specific focus on ensuring compliance with the Bank of Tanzanias financial reporting requirements financial controls GAAP industry (non-banking) standards. Prepare and file daily bi-weekly monthly quarterly and annual regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Tanzania and Reserve Bank of South Africa. Custodian and secretary of financial controls forums i.e. BSS Risk Forum and IFC.
To ensure compliance with BSS Policy IFC Mandate and other Financial controls metrics while ensuring completeness accuracy and validity of Finance reconciliations and those fall under domain of reconciliation and other Units. Undertake monitoring and control role as per BSS Policy to provide additional assuarance on reconciliation performed by other Units.
Qualifications :
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Diploma in accounting finance or related field
Type of Qualification: ACCA/CPA is added advantage
Experience Required
Financial/Statutory Accounting
Finance & Value Management
1-2 years
Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a finance department. Preference will be given for those who have worked in a financial institution.
