- Develop new functionalities to meet product team requirements ensuring high-quality code.
- Write efficient reusable and thoroughly documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Actively participate in daily scrum meetings and collaborate with the development team in brain-storming and decision-making activities.
- Support the project life cycle from beginning to launch ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop service extensions to optimize project development and enhance overall performance.
- Perform essential tasks related to project configuration setup debugging and other project-related activities.
- Deploy projects to real customer environments ensuring smooth implementation and functionality.
- Prepare estimations of development efforts for accurate project planning and resource allocation.
- Orchestrate the development workflow ensuring efficient collaboration and timely delivery of milestones.
- Profile projects after launch to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in PHP web development with a strong background in PHP object-oriented programming and MVC applications.
- real-world e-commerce experience specifically with Magento development is a plus
- Deep knowledge of e-commerce development technologies frameworks and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of source control systems and versioning.
- Competency in MySQL-based database concepts with experience in database design and optimization.
- Good understanding of Magentos code structure extension architecture and component integration.
- Demonstrated expertise in extending Magento extensions and resolving dependencies between them.
- Experience in web services integration particularly with payment and shipping gateways (REST/SOAP).
- Comfortable working with Linux-based systems with a solid understanding of command-line operations
