The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. This position is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels to meet production and sales requirements.

Implement and oversee a robust inventory management system to accurately track stock movements in real-time.
Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Develop and execute strategies to minimize excess inventory while maintaining sufficient stock levels to meet demand.
Analyse and optimize the distribution process to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs and plan for future requirements.
Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
Manage and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of work.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory levels stock movements and key performance indicators to senior management.
Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent leadership abilities including experience in team management and performance optimization.
In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA standards.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is highly preferred.
Forklift certification and experience with various material handling equipment is advantageous.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as operational needs dictate.
