We are seeking a visionary and experienced ITS Manager (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha Qatar. As the ITS Manager you will lead our Intelligent Transportation Systems initiatives focusing on the operations and maintenance of road infrastructure in the rapidly developing city of Doha.
- Oversee the implementation and management of Intelligent Transportation Systems for road networks in Doha
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize traffic flow and enhance road safety using cutting-edge ITS technologies
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the operations and maintenance of road infrastructure
- Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and standards
- Analyze traffic data and prepare comprehensive reports to guide decision-making processes
- Manage budgets and resources for ITS projects and ongoing maintenance activities
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve transportation efficiency and support smart city initiatives
- Ensure the reliability and effectiveness of traffic management systems through regular audits and upgrades
- Develop and maintain emergency response protocols for road-related incidents
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Transportation Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ITS and roads operations and maintenance
- Proven experience in managing large-scale transportation projects
- Strong knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems and their applications in urban environments
- Expertise in traffic management systems and road safety technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Excellent project management and budget control skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of local transportation regulations and standards in Qatar
- Familiarity with smart city technologies and their integration with transportation systems
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
