QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field (Masters degree is an advantage)
- At least 5 years of accounting and tax experience in an international or production environment
- Strong knowledge of Algerian tax legislation and international accounting standards (IFRS/IAS)
- Experience in the preparation and review of tax returns statutory financial statements and reconciliations
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- High attention to detail accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Execute daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with group policies
- Prepare review and submit monthly quarterly and annual tax returns
- Follow changes in Algerian tax legislation and assess their impact on company operations
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing and other reporting processes
- Providing accurate financial and tax reporting to management and head office.
