What will you do

• Lead engineers/detailers and oversee ongoing projects resolving day-to-day technical issues from conceptual to detailed design during project execution.
• Coordinate with Design Consultant to prepare architectural drawings based on approved equipment drawings and tender specifications.
• Review architectural plumbing and structural drawings & calculations submitted by consultants.
• Submit architectural Plumbing structural drawings & calculations to the client for review and attend technical meetings with the client.
• Coordinate design activities and ensure project timelines are met.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Expert in interface checks of interdisciplinary requirements.
• Provide expert solutions to design consultants and subcontractors.
• Proven analytical skills in problem-solving and steering projects to meet objectives.
• Monitor the quality of deliverables and ensure they align with project/client requirements.
• Plan schedules and resources with design consultants to meet project targets.
• Prioritize multiple assignments and work effectively under tight deadlines to meet strict time frame and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with clients consultants and vendors to meet project targets.
• Monitor works based on tender documents.
• Obtain civil-related approvals from owner consultants clients and government authorities.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to prepare equipment layout and overall site layout.
• Prepare civil work BOQ & RFQ based on tender documents.
• Ensure quantity/cost control based on tender stage estimation.

Experience Education and other Required:

• Bachelors/masters degree in civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in substation civil design and coordination.
• Familiar with Saudi Electricity Company Standards and Requirements
• Minimum 3 years in structural design and 5 years of experience in design coordination.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD Staad Pro ETABS etc.).
