Job Title: Adjunct Faculty - Biology & Biotechnology
Classification: Faculty (Institutional Support)
Reports To: Dean School of Arts and Sciences
Location: Kuwait City Kuwait
Job Purpose
American International University (AIU) invites applications for qualified Biology or Biotechnology Faculty to join its adjunct teaching pool and be considered for part-time teaching opportunities. Adjunct pool members may be contacted to teach introductory general education or selected major courses depending on departmental needs and individual qualifications. Adjunct Faculty contribute to AIUs mission by teaching undergraduate courses and mentoring students in a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
Position Overview:
Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for teaching courses in their respective disciplines assisting with course development and contributing to the academic growth of AIUs students. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted when opportunities that match their qualifications and expertise become available.
Qualifications
Masters or PhD in Molecular Biology Genetics Biotechnology or a closely related field required.
Proficient communication skills in English.
University teaching experience in the subject matter.
Industry experience in teaching field.
Commitment to excellence in teaching.
Responsibilities
Teach up to 2 courses (6 credit hours) which may include General Biology Cell and Molecular Biology Genetics Microbiology and specialized Biotechnology topics.
Provide mentorship and academic advising to students.
Collaborate with faculty in curriculum development.
Actively contribute to the intellectual and cultural growth of AIUs academic community.
