Dash is working on another rare-to-find role!
On behalf of our client an international fintech startup were looking for a Data Engineer whos eager to build scalable pipelines and shape the data backbone of a product making finance smarter for SMEs.
What youll do:

Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines that power financial insights.

Ingest and transform data from multiple sources (QuickBooks Zoho Xero Excel APIs).
-
Ensure high data quality consistency and integrity across the platform.
-
Work with PostgreSQL dbt Airflow Python and (Express) to build workflows and APIs.
-
Help transition from batch to near-real-time data pipelines.
-
Experiment with new tools like DuckDB Apache Arrow or even LLMs for ETL.

Share responsibility for monitoring debugging and resolving production issues.

Document your work to keep future onboarding fast and painless.
What you need to have:

3 to 5 years of experience as a data engineer analytics engineer or backend engineer with strong data responsibilities.

Solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills plus exposure to React and SQL (Postgres a plus).

Familiarity with modern data stacks (dbt Airflow ETL tools).

Curiosity about system design APIs and data-driven products.
-
A collaborative mindset you ask good questions give feedback and learn with your team.

Comfort in a fast-moving startup where priorities shift quickly.

The right attitude proactive adaptable and eager to grow.
Bonus points for:

Python and AI/ML libraries.
-
Experience with financial systems or fintech startups.
-
Familiarity with accounting tools (chart of accounts P&L cashflow reports).

Exposure to DevOps practices or infra (Docker AWS serverless).
