On behalf of our client we are looking for a Assistant Travel Manager to join their company.
Job Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for managing business and leisure trips from planning to execution. This requires extensive coordination with different departments and suppliers followed by seamless implementation. The role demands meticulous attention to detail flawless execution and strong negotiation skills.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and organize business and leisure trips from planning to execution.
- Scout destinations hotels restaurants and activities; prepare presentations and detailed itineraries.
- Coordinate with internal departments suppliers and external agencies (hotels transportation aviation security embassies).
- Handle logistics for transportation flights boats and activities ensuring smooth execution.
- Negotiate with service providers and control budgets and expenses.
- Supervise on-site arrangements (car allocations luggage management restaurant setups touristic visits).
- Lead and assign tasks to team members ensuring clear responsibilities and smooth operations.
- Maintain travel records update passports and visas and manage supplier databases.
- Research new destinations and luxury travel trends to propose innovative travel ideas.
- Prepare reports finalize accounts and ensure compliance with budgets and approvals
Requirements
- Minimum of BSc in administration (Master is preferred).
- Minimum 2 Years of experience in hotels travel agencies or Events Management.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Good negotiation skills and decision maker.
- Excellent level of Spoken and Written English and Arabic.
- Ability to correspond to dignitaries and officials in English and Arabic.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude and good appearance.
- Proactive and able to work under stress.
- Detail oriented and perfection seeker.
- Have traveled and been exposed to other cultures is a plus
