TBI is seeking a talented Video Editor with expertise in documentaries short films and social media storytelling. This role is ideal for an editor who blends narrative thinking with cinematic technique to create emotionally engaging and visually compelling stories that resonate with MENA region audiences.
You will work closely with directors producers and creative teams to craft impactful stories across multiple platforms from full-length documentaries to short-form social content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit full-length documentaries and short narrative films to broadcast quality.
- Produce platform-optimized videos for Reels Stories Shorts and other social formats.
- Build compelling story arcs using interviews B-roll narration and archival footage.
- Collaborate with directors producers and scriptwriters to ensure creative alignment.
- Perform color correction audio balancing and fine-tuning for professional output.
- Add graphics subtitles and title sequences when needed.
- Manage media assets storage and version control throughout the editing process.
- Ensure ethical and factual integrity in all storytelling.
Requirements
- 3 years editing documentaries short films or long-form narrative content.
- Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong storytelling ability with a sharp sense of pacing and visual composition.
- Experience with multi-camera editing and high-quality audio workflows.
- Basic sound design and color grading skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive or complex topics respectfully and effectively.
- Must provide examples of long-form or narrative work.
- Additional Requirement: Candidate must have their own laptop.
- Must be a non-smoker (all types).
