What you will do
- Drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboratewith the sales team to understand customer requirements and across Oracles cloud teams to ensure our solutions align with customer needs providing strategic guidance at every step.
- Create and delivertechnical proposals presentations and solution documentation showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Define comprehensive consistent and effective cloud solutions leveraging the Oracle IaaS and PaaS portfolio to meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.
- Design and deliver enterprise cloud architectures that clearly articulate business value through vision capability models assessments and technical architecture.
- Orchestrate and lead cross-functional Oracle teams to help customers design rapidly adopt and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on Database Platforms and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Technical fluencycombined with strong communication skills enables you to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Cloud Passion and Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud technologies (IaaS PaaS AI) and their potential applications across business functions and technical audiences.
- Experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
- X years of experience in technology and industry with X years working with public cloud platforms.
Nice to have experience
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
- Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
- Experience with Oracle database technologies
- Experience with Open source Cloud native and Oracle technologies.
- Degree level education in computer science information systems or a related field.

ResponsibilitiesEngages with strategic customers builds leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations in order to design and implement solutions. Works directly with customers to gather requirements develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. May implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through highly customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration planning and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers solution code blog posts and video demonstrations). Serves as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Identifies gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer driven features. Leading contributor may provide direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. May interact with C level. Maintains expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
