System Q&R engineer

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.



Key job responsibilities
Executing system product quality & reliability (Q&R) validation and ongoing Q&R monitoring activities and tasks
Executing dedicated Q&R experiments and tasks for product development production test coverage analysis failure reproduction and analysis etc.
Performing various product testing and inspection tasks for RMAs product manufacturing quality assessments supplier and component quality assessments etc.
English communication with customer/vendors with regards to RMA quality issues
Selection purchasing and maintenance of lab equipment and tools
Additional responsibilities and challenges are always available based on candidate abilities

- ./Practical Engineer degree in electrical engineering or computer science or related fields
- Knowledge of computer architecture computer networks and data processing
- Three to five years of relevant work experience
- Fluent technical writing in English

- Knowledge and experience in quality and reliability engineering and statistics fundamentals
- Knowledge and experience in PCBA design manufacturing testing and failure analysis
- Knwoledge and experience in Linux based OS scripting
