الوصف الوظيفي
- Manage the mechanical engineering department and optimize resource utilization
- Lead mechanical design design reviews and supervision during construction.
- Oversee all project stages: schematic design detailed design D&B IFC and execution.
- Detect and resolve BIM model clashes in collaboration with BIM specialists (LOD 300500).
- Ensure QA/QC compliance and coordination with MEP structural and architectural disciplines.
- Prepare and review BOQs specs technical reports submittals and tender packages
- Support site teams with technical evaluations and compliance oversight.
- Contribute to proposal efforts by defining scope estimating resources and offering technical solutions
- Participate in technical reviews value engineering workshops and coordination meetings.
- Stay current with mechanical engineering tools codes and BIM technologies.
Qualifications :
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory); Masters in Mechanical Energy or Environmental Engineering (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in mechanical and electromechanical engineering with leadership responsibilities.
- Project Expertise: Proven experience in design design review (including schematic D&B and IFC stages) and construction supervision of complex MEP systems.
- BIM & Tools: Proficient in Revit MEP Navisworks; capable of managing BIM deliverables (LOD 300500) and clash detection workflows.
- Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC plumbing fire protection and pumping systems in multidisciplinary environments.
- Software: Skilled in AutoCAD; knowledge of Primavera/MS Project is a plus.
- Standards: Strong familiarity with KSA MEA GCC and international codes and practices.
- Other Competencies: Strong technical reporting QA/QC and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus
- Willing to travel regionally (Egypt and KSA)
