Job Overview
Shear International Co. Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) for their Steel Foundry and Iron Casting Factory in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As COO you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company ensuring efficient and effective execution of strategic initiatives. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other senior leaders to drive growth and profitability. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement operational plans aligned with the companys overall strategic objectives.
* Oversee the daily operations of various departments ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
* Manage budgets and financial performance identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue generation.
* Lead and motivate teams fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
* Collaborate with other senior executives to develop and implement long-term strategic plans.
* Represent the company in external forums and build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in a senior operational leadership role preferably within a similar industry.
* Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing operational strategies.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage large teams.
* Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
* Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are highly advantageous.
