Job Title: Operations Officer

Department: Operations

Employment Type: Full-Time



Job Summary

NN Rent a Car is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Officer to oversee and support the daily operational activities of our car rental branches. The successful candidate will ensure seamless coordination between bookings fleet management dispatch and returns all while upholding our service excellence standards. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a hands-on attitude a strong sense of responsibility and experience in the car rental or transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate vehicle dispatch return and availability based on bookings and reservations.

Ensure all vehicles meet cleanliness and quality standards before delivery.

Monitor and manage the fleet s maintenance schedules repairs and insurance documentation.

Supervise vehicle check-in/check-out processes including mileage fuel and damage inspection.

Actively promote and upsell add-on services such as extra insurance coverage GPS baby seats Wi-Fi devices and additional driver options.

Maximize revenue per rental through effective sales techniques and understanding customer needs.

Handle daily operational reports: fleet availability bookings fuel usage and damages.

Use company software (Odoo Zoho Wheelsys) to update bookings schedules and customer records.

Communicate with customers to confirm bookings explain rental terms and resolve issues when needed.

Liaise with suppliers and external service providers (mechanics insurance companies etc.).

Support the accounting department with required operational data (fines extra charges extensions).

Assist with training and coordination of drivers cleaners and field staff.




Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 3 years of experience in car rental operations or logistics (experience in a car rental company is a strong plus).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with Odoo Zoho or other CRM/ERP systems.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and cloud-based reporting tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and stay calm under pressure.
  • Good command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Valid driver s license (preferred).
