We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Developer Pharmaceuticals to join our team in Istanbul Turkey. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our pharmaceutical business through innovative partnerships and market opportunities.

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform business decisions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including potential partners and clients
  • Negotiate and structure complex business deals and partnerships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives
  • Monitor and report on the progress of business development activities
  • Stay up-to-date with pharmaceutical industry regulations and market dynamics
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Pharmacy or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development
  • Proven track record of successful partnerships or deals in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and interpret complex data
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management and CRM software
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry trends drug development processes and healthcare market dynamics
  • Experience with data analysis tools and strategic planning
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced results-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel as required for business development activities


Additional Information :

Key Responsibilities of a Business Developer in Pharma:

  1. Market Research & Analysis:

    • Identifying trends opportunities and challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.

    • Analyzing competitors market dynamics and customer needs.

  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients including healthcare providers pharmaceutical companies and distributors.

    • Negotiating contracts terms and pricing strategies.

  3. Strategic Planning:

    • Developing and executing strategies for business growth market expansion and new product launches.

    • Identifying new business opportunities and partnerships within the pharmaceutical space.

  4. Sales and Marketing Support:

    • Supporting the sales and marketing teams with strategies to enhance product visibility and market share.
