Creative Fragrances Application Lab Technician

An Application Laboratory Technician with the global leader in the creation of Flavours andFragrances and providing critical support for our Creative Fragrances Development team and based in Morocco - Your future position

As aCreative Fragrances Application Lab Technicianwithin the Technical Team you will work together with the Application Laboratory Technicians to prepare Fragrance applications. You will support theApplication team to prepare Fragrance applications in different bases meeting the needs of Creative andDevelopment teams under the guidance and ensure the quality precision and accuracy thereof.

You will be based in our Morocco office and will report into the Technical Director for South Asia Middle East & Africa. The role offers excellent opportunities for both personal and professional development.

In this role you will:

Bring your passion:

• Assist in applying fragrances to consumer products when assigned.
• Assist in the administration of materials and laboratory organisation.
• Perform colour matching and recommend dyes as per client request.

Utilise the very best of you:

• Ability to follow SOPs and to prepare applications with quality speed and accuracy.
• Demonstrate a basic ability in formulation development and preparation of internal bases.

Drive efficiencies and excellence:

• Ensure and maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and lab equipment in accordance with EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices.
• Administration of sample requests and ordering of fragrance oils.
• Record and communicate results accurately and promptly.
• Management of fragrance oils customer base and internal base inventories.

Your professional profile includes:

• At least a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Pharmacy or a relevant discipline.
• 2 -3 years relevant experience in a Fragrance Applications/Compounding or Chemicals or a related laboratory environment.
• Demonstrate a strong affinity and interest in Fragrances.
• Having Olfactory skills would be beneficial.
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English and French languages.
• Ablityto demonstrate proficiency in using common PC applications.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of lab documentation protocol and handling lab equipments and chemicals used to perform lab functions.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to give attention to details.
• A flexible team player with a sense of facilitation and strong organisational skills.
