- Carry out high-velocity and turbulent oil flushing operations on lube oil hydraulic and turbine systems.
- Set up and operate oil flushing equipment such as pumps filters hoses flow meters and heaters.
- Monitor oil cleanliness levels using particle counters and follow ISO cleanliness standards.
- Ensure proper connection of flushing lines to system components including reservoirs filters heat exchangers and bearings.
- Conduct oil sampling before during and after flushing for laboratory analysis or on-site testing.
- Interpret flushing parameters such as flow rate temperature and pressure to maintain effective operation.
- Read and understand isometric drawings P&IDs and system schematics to plan flushing paths.
- Maintain accurate documentation of flushing procedures oil analysis results and system cleanliness records.
- Adhere to safety environmental and quality standards throughout all activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance commissioning and engineering teams to align flushing operations with system requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 5 years of experience in oil flushing operations preferably in oil & gas power plants or heavy industry.
- Familiarity with ISO 4406 cleanliness standards and oil analysis techniques.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and lubrication systems.
- Ability to operate flushing units pumps filtration carts and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and permit-to-work systems.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces elevated platforms and industrial environments.
