Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Tendering & Engineering Specialist with at least 10 years of experience in preparing competitive bids for large-scale MEP projects. Based in Lebanon the candidate will support African tenders analyzing tender documents BOQs drawings and specifications for electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review RFPs drawings specifications and BOQs for electrical works.
- Prepare and optimize technical and commercial proposals.
- Perform value engineering to identify cost-saving alternatives.
- Contact vendors/suppliers for pricing and technical alignment.
- Coordinate with internal design and cost teams.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements and contract conditions.
- Use AutoCAD to extract quantities and prepare technical submittals.
- Prepare clarifications and responses during tender queries.
- Collaborate closely with management for bid strategy.
- Prepare material submittals.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering and MEP engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Excel Word and estimation tools.
- Strong understanding of contractual terms technical specs and BOQs.
- Fluent in English and French (reading technical documents and writing proposals).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
