Job Title: Hematology Pathology Consultant
Department: Pathology
SHORT DESCRIPTION
An Excellent opportunity to join as a Hematology Pathology for one of the most prestigious and top tier leading Hospital in Jeddah Saudi Arabia.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Hematology Pathology Consultant in a top-tier hospital you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing hematological disorders through comprehensive analysis of blood samples and bone marrow. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans provide expert consultations and ensure high-quality patient care. Additionally you will oversee laboratory operations mentor junior staff and contribute to clinical research initiatives to advance the field of hematopathology. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing diagnostic accuracy and improving patient outcomes.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides high-quality hematology pathology care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative service as requested.
- Supervise fellows staff/assistant physicians and residents.
- Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
- Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Performs special procedures as privileged.
- Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or Subspecialty
- American Board/MRCPCH-Irish UK Canadian Australian & New Zealand/DES/CIS/ Diplome di Medico Specialist Italy / SCR Holland/Swedish Board/German Fachartz/Austrian Fachartz/CCST UK/Saudi Board/Arab Board & sub board/ Fellowship
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
- Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in Hematology pathology.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
