Mason

1. Carry out all tiles grouting and blocking and other assigned civil works duties within the complex 

1. Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for masonry jobs as directed by Superiors 

1. Repair maintain and alter buildings retaining walls and other brick or stone edifices 

1. Mix mortar lay bricks and stones or concrete sidewalks and make and repair steps 

1. Patch and replace brick or stonework chimneys 

1. Install and repair tile floors or walls 

1. Read blueprints and plaster ceilings or walls 

1. Estimate masonry jobs and carry out carpentry work incidental to masonry work. 

1. Executes all plumbing and associated work to the highest professional standards for the whole complex 

1. Performs the tasks assigned to him and ensures their implementation while working independently. 

1. Acts on issues and concerns in his activity field immediately.  

1. Must be able to control the stocks and other items in his workshop and order more as required. 

1. Abides to the daily task and ensures timely implementation. 

1. Checks extra needs of a guest. 

1. Ensures oneself is thoroughly familiar with the hotels emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur. 

1. Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility. 

1. Other duties as assigned. 

1. Assist in Task Force Teams for new openings 

1. Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested. 

Qualifications :

Education: Diploma / Certificate in Plumbing. 

Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role                          

Other: Should be able to communicate well in English.
