General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the electrical plans provided and specifications according to local and international codes and standards and international best practices.
- Reviewing electrical shop drawings submitted and material submissions against approved drawings and specifications local laws legal requirements and international best practices.
- Ensuring that the design consultant complies with all Hill International and the Tunnel Authoritys internal processes and procedures.
- Providing technical support during the construction period and reviewing the plans as built (As Built)
- Patriciate in value engineering procedures.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Fluent English and Arabic
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in comprehensive mega projects Job role includes taking overall responsibility for Electrical Engineer on mega projects.
- 10 years of handson experience in designing developing testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and components.
- Proven track record of successfully completing diverse electrical projects ranging from smallscale residential installations to largescale industrial systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
- Experience in collaborating with other engineering disciplines such as mechanical civil and software engineering.
- Indepth understanding of electrical circuit theory electromagnetism electronics and control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards such as NEC IEC and IEEE.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and hazard mitigation techniques.
- Understanding of power system analysis including load flow short circuit and stability studies.
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and instrumentation such as oscilloscopes multimeters and spectrum analyzer
