Technical Office Engineer Mechanical

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Technical Office Engineer (Mechanical) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team in our project in Egypt.

What you will need to do:

• Conduct site surveys and provide detailed reports based on survey findings.
• Perform quantity surveying for all mechanical equipment and materials related to HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Prepare the scope of work for all mechanical disciplines including HVAC firefighting and plumbing.
• Prepare cost estimations for the project covering labor equipment materials and subcontractors.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for the tender stage and awarded projects based on project design requirements and quantity takeoffs for mechanical materials systems and equipment.
• Prepare material submittals in line with project specifications ensure full compliance with specifications and obtain consultant approval.
• Develop detailed shop drawings in coordination with all relevant disciplines.
• Perform all necessary mechanical calculations for the mechanical systems.
• Maintain knowledge of international standards and codes (such as ASHRAE SMACNA NFPA IPC
• NPC ASPE etc..
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that material delivery schedules align with the project
• timeline.
• Provide technical support to the site team for any siterelated issues

What you will need to have:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical  Engineering.
• 4 or 5 years of experience in similar role
• Proven experience working on at least two completed projects of similar scope and complexity. (International project experience is highly recommended)
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills are essential.  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
