Senior Civil Procurement Engineer -KSA

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Civil Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for major civil construction projects in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring construction materials and services ensuring costefficiency timely delivery and compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings specifications and BOQs to identify procurement requirements for civil materials and services.
  
• Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors locally and internationally for quality reliability and competitive pricing.
  
• Prepare and issue RFQs perform bid analysis and conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
  
• Negotiate terms and finalize contracts and purchase orders in line with project timelines and budgets.
  
• Coordinate closely with site teams planning and engineering departments to align procurement activities with project needs.
  
• Ensure timely delivery and proper documentation of materials to support uninterrupted site operations.
  
• Maintain records of procurement transactions including submittals approvals purchase orders and delivery schedules.
  
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to delays quality or noncompliance.
  
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and contribute to process improvement.
  
• Support the procurement manager in strategic sourcing and vendor development initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 7 10 years of experience in civil procurement within the construction industry ideally on largescale projects in the GCC.
  
• Strong understanding of civil construction materials (concrete steel aggregates formwork etc. and market trends.
  
• Excellent negotiation communication and supplier management skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Transferable Iqama is an advantage (for candidates already in KSA).
  
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
