Quali cation
Min. 3 Year experience in maintaining and supporting plus relevant handson technical experience in troubleshooting and carrying out eld repairs modi cations etc. of related systems
Previous work experience in Oil & Gas facility or equivalent as well as in an offshore environment is desirable and will be an added advantage
Minimum secondary 12 Years) school education with 3 years full time technical education (Diploma) in electronics & Telecommunication Discipline.
Moderate level of written & spoken English
Work Scope
SDH & PDH System
Microwave Radio System
Visual Inspection checks (incl. Alarms)
General cleaning / dusting etc.
Integrity checks
Functionality tests (incl. GPS clock synchronization)
Any Abnormalities / faults found to be carried to fault report for necessary followup corrective action (that requires spares and repairs)
Additional PM procedures/checklists as per recommendations as applicable
All maintenance support related moves changes replacements installations relocations removals upgrades updates additions deletions programming configuration etc.
Rectification of all faults identified during PM that requires no spares and repairs as applicable (including any programming and reconfiguration)
Replacement of faulty hardware/software with new spare programming and reconfiguration as applicable
DC UPS System (Rectifiers & Batteries)
Check UPS parameters (Input voltage output Voltage input current output current and Battery Voltage and output power) at required intervals.
Check Battery Terminals connection and apply petroleum jelly to terminals
Functionality tests (including load backup autonomy tests)
Clean the UPS and Battery using blower at periodic intervals
Checking distilled water level and specific gravity of maintenance battery at periodic intervals
Replace cooling fan and capacitor in the UPS if found defective or noise
Ensure that the work area is left clean and tidy
