What you will be doing:
- As the Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations creating innovative menus and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
- Lead and inspire a large dynamic kitchen team across multiple outlets in one of Dohas most exciting culinary destinations
- Drive innovation and foster a culture of active menu development incorporating local and international flavors
- Maintain full cost control over all kitchen areas from staffing to efficient resource utilization without compromising menu quality
- Ensure both guest satisfaction and team wellbeing by leading by example actively engaging your staff and motivating them to deliver exceptional experiences
- Develop and implement new culinary concepts while staying true to our brand identity
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience and achieve organizational goals
- Oversee food safety and sanitation practices ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Manage inventory suppliers and budgets to optimize kitchen operations and profitability
- Participate in culinary events and promotions to elevate the restaurants profile in the local and international food scene
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a highvolume dynamic environment with a focus on fresh quality ingredients
- Proven track record in leading large kitchen teams across multiple outlets and kitchens
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated creativity in menu development while maintaining brand consistency
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to achieve budget goals (KPIs) for labor and food costs
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques with a passion for culinary innovation
- Current food safety and sanitation certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Proficiency in menu planning cost control and inventory management
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Familiarity with local cuisine and food regulations in Qatar is highly desirable
- Positive attitude sense of humor and willingness to support the team where needed
- Openminded approach to trying new ideas and methods in the culinary field
- Strong customer focus with the ability to engage with guests and leave a lasting positive impression
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
