We are seeking to recruit a Cloud DevOps Lead to join our team in Cairo.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience. They will be developing
a reputation within the IT market having worked on 7 DevOps projects (at least two different DevOps solutions & at least 6 months on each project);
providing valued thought leadership and opinion. They will be building a strong professional network and have a growing presence in the Engineering ecosystem.
You will be part of a team that reports to the Cloud Service Delivery Director and will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo as well as those delivering client transformation programs across the PwC Global Network including the UK Germany and Middle East.
Required skills and Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in DevOps roles with substantial experience in leading technical teams and architecting complex development environments. Proven track record in designing implementing and optimising comprehensive DevOps lifecycle projects.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with development and operations teams
Imagine architect develop deploy and maintain software deployment lifecycle according to agile methodologies.
Strong Azure cloud knowledge focusing on web and serverless architectures including being able to design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure
Experience in cloud infrastructure monitoring maintenance and administration
Knowledge of security performance and cost best practices in a software development environment
Experience of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to model cloud infrastructure
Experience in implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery in Azure DevOps or GitHub using YAML
Experience in automating complex tasks and workflows
Experience using application lifecycle management tools Azure DevOps Github Jira Confluence or similar.
Not limited to but Good to have :
Certified in Microsoft Azure cloud (AZ104 AZ400
Responsibilities
Support the leadership and management of the new Cloud Practice by taking an active role in the Cloud Leadership Team.
Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling as per clients needs.
Imagine architect develop deploy and maintain software deployment lifecycle according to agile methodologies.
Delivering exceptional client service and solutions.
Highly confident in Cloud Architecture and managing stream deliverables
Work with a global mindset with teams based in the UK Germany and other Middle Eastern Countries.
Leading delivery teams to deliver solutions that are on scope time quality and budget.
Responsibility for coaching and developing more junior team members.
Working closely with the project leads solution architects and operations lead to design provision and manage cloud infrastructure for our applications.
Implementing CI/CD for our applications and supporting releases.
Ensuring that systems are safe and secure in line with the firms security policies.
Documenting internal processes and environments.
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
Excellent troubleshooting skills diagnose system and service faults and undertake problem analysis.
