Staff Software Engineer

We are seeking a Staff Engineerto shape the future of ournextgeneration data export solutions. You will design and optimizescalable highperformance backend systems ensuring seamless access totrusted AIready data.
This role requiresexpertise in distributed architectures data infrastructure and highscale processing along with the ability tolead initiatives mentor developers and drive engineering excellence.

What youll do

• Architect and optimizeAppsFlyers data export infrastructure ensuringscalability performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop scalable backend platforms integrating withBigQuery Snowflake AWS S3 and more.
• Lead highimpact projectsacross engineering platform and product teams.
• Establish best practicesin system design and reliability focusing onmonitoring and optimization.
• Mentor developersand drive high engineering standards.
• Drive companywide technical initiatives dedicating 20 of your time toAppsFlyers Staff Engineers Forum.

What you have

• 10 years of experience in software development working on highscale distributed systems.
• 3 years in technical leadership roles driving architectural decisions and mentoring developers.
• Expertise in data infrastructure pipelines and cloudbased solutions.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable backend platforms ensuring performance reliability and security.
• Handson experience with PostgreSQL Kafka Spark Airflow and Python.
• Knowledge of distributed data processing eventdriven architectures and scalable data access solutions.
• Experience working with the BigQuery ecosystem leveraging its capabilities for scalability efficient data access and integration with cloudnative services.
• Strong collaboration skills working closely with product data and engineering stakeholders.

Bonus points

• Experience withfunctional programming (Clojure/Scala).
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies and fullstack best practices.
• Background in highscale data platforms (BigQuery Snowflake or Spark).
• Experience in AIdriven development AI agents or agentic workflows.
