Skills Required: Requires good verbal and written communication skill. Good interpersonal skills necessary to deal with patients and staff. Work presents potential exposure to communicable disease and hazardous materials. Work requires moderate to heavy lifting of patients and small equipment. Work requires that a majority of time is spent with either walking or standing. BLS certification. Experience performing Accuchecks.
Experience Required: One year of recent nursing assistant experience.
Education Required: 6 months technical training in health care or Completion of a nursing assistant training program or a Nursing student who has completed basic medical/surgical training.
Licensure/Registration/Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification preferred C.N.A. certification
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or designate functions as a member of the surgical team who assists in providing basic nursing care under the direct supervision of a nurse. Also performs functional assignments defined by the Nurse Manager and which facilitate therapeutic services provided to patientsنوع التوظيف
