Director of Operations
Be an ambassador of the brand and the property as Director of Operations where your leadership strong interpersonal skills and strategic vision will drive an engaged team guest satisfaction and maximized operating results.
You will bring your strong commercial and business acumen and tenacity to drive the top line to exceed targets and to position the property in the (luxury premium midscale economy) marketplace.
You will be responsible for:
- Oversee and maintain all operational departments to ensure performance at the highest level of guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Serves as a strategic partner and adviser across departments providing input and leadership in setting goals executing our vision and enacting changes that will better the business.
- Exceptional relationshipbuilding skills (people like and respect you) and you make an effort to connect to all stakeholders establishing and strengthening meaningful connections
- A thoughtful operator with an ability to manage both short and longterm financial objectives adding value and managing outcomes through a balanced lens
- Maintain and champion the Auberge Resorts Collection Culture on property.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends property systems and standards.
- Promote and lead premium customer service standards
- Develop and deliver an annual business plan following guidelines and timelines.
- Provide monthly financial reports and ensure timely submissions from managers.
- Lead weekly forecast meetings and maintain financial transparency with the global team.
- Drive guest satisfaction by gathering feedback and implementing innovative solutions.
- Lead and develop managers to improve service efficiency and workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with policies safety regulations and workplace health standards.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for quality and cost efficiency.
- Promote company values fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Lead crisis management efforts and maintain guest and team confidentiality.
- Recruit train and retain highperforming team members.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree or diploma in Hospitality and Tourism with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant lounge service and food production businesses.
- Proven cost management and business acumen for sound decisionmaking.
- Skilled in stakeholder management negotiation and networking.
- Ability to coach mentor and inspire highperforming teams.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to change.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Expertise in managing complex global operations.
