We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Purchasing Officer to join our team . As a Purchasing Officer you will play a crucial role in our organizations procurement process ensuring costeffective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Process and edit purchase requests from various departments
- Correspond with suppliers to obtain quotations and negotiate favorable terms
- Prepare and issue purchase orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Maintain detailed records of materials prices inventories and deliveries
- Compare prices specifications and delivery dates to identify the most costeffective suppliers
- Proactively communicate with colleagues and suppliers regarding order status and resolve any issues
- Assist departments in raising purchase requests using company systems
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain appropriate documentation
- Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience
- Proficient in MS Excel Word & PowerPoint
- Good communication skills
