About Ayyeka:
Ayyeka is a fastgrowing startup in the IoT and smart infrastructure space. We develop cuttingedge data loggers sensors and a cloudbased Field Asset Intelligence (FAI) platform that empowers cities utilities and industrial customers worldwide.
Were looking for a QA Team Leader to lead our quality efforts across the full product lifecycle from embedded firmware to cloudbased applications. If youre passionate about testing smart connected systems and want to shape the quality of missioncritical technology this is your opportunity.
The role is part of our R&D team and works closely with both Product Management and Customer Support ensuring we deliver robust fieldready solutions that meet realworld needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small team of QA engineers (manual automation)
- Build and execute QA strategies for software systems
- Define and implement test plans test cases and test automation frameworks
- Own and drive quality processes across the Agile lifecycle including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure functional and userdriven validation
- Work alongside Customer Support to understand field issues and integrate testing for realworld use cases
- Ensure traceability and tracking via Jira and QA metrics
- Work handson with embedded devices APIs Cloud and OnPremises products
- Simulate sensor behaviors and validate endtoend data flow
- Analyze test data write queries and validate datasets using SQL (a must)
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Strong QA background across both software and firmware (embedded systems)
- Experience with IoT or hardwaresoftware integrated products
- Proven expertise in SQL writing and analyzing queries to validate backend data
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and tools (e.g. test management CI/CD)
- Proficiency in Jira Agile methodologies and lifecycle documentation
- Handson experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Robot Framework or similar)
- Ability to define and track KPIs and continuously improve QA effectiveness
- High attention to detail organized and proactive mindset
- Strong English (written and spoken)
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with Python Bash or test scripting
- Working with remote teams or field hardware testers
