Responsibilities
He or she brings the following:
- Good creative thinking problem solving planning timemanagement.
- Is able to provide high level technical designs of data platform components
- Is able to establish good standards patterns and practices
- Is able to oversee and lead delivery of PoCs/MVPs and alike
- Can communicate effectively with external stakeholders
- Is familiar with security automation and cost management aspects of Azure
- Experience with analytics and business intelligence concepts and technologies.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Requires general technical expertise and not specialisation in one technology only.
Must have experience with
- Data & Analytics services and technologies including Microsoft Azure Analytics services.
- Azure Databricks
- Optimising & finding efficiencies in the architecture / setup / wow of the value streams
- Assessing ideas from multiple angles translating them in a business case covering initial steps cost estimations etc.
- Stakeholder management
- Business requirement analysis
- Agile way of working
Nice to have
- Data processing
- Skills in developing data processing pipeline leveraging batch and streaming technologies.
- Spark PySpark and understanding the concepts behind it
- Medallion architecture: Bronze Silver Gold (RAW Clean Prepared)
- Orchestration e.g. ADF (or Airflow Luigi Prefect)
- Data Modelling: SQL Table format modelling techniques e.g. DataVault Kimball experience.
