SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources technological and support systems and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality cost effective patient care. Reports To: The Chief of Radiology for nursing practice and patient care issues and reports to Director of Radiology and Interventional Radiology Coordinator for all other issues.SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Requires intense attention and concentration. Good visual verbal hearing skills analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personality types ages and diverse cultural backgrounds in a rapidly changing environment in a professional respectful manner. Must obtain ACLS certification within 6 months. EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing is required. Bachelors Degree is preferred.LICENSES CERTIFICATION and/or REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Position requires a Valid/Current license to practice as a RN in Massachusetts. ACLS certified BLS certified required EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: REQUIRES 3years medial surgical nursing experience to include one year of critical care. Moderate Sedation experience preferred. Per Diem Requirements: A commitment of 3 shifts including 2 weekend shifts in a 4 week block. 1 major holiday and 2 minor holidays per calendar year. Please note that this is a commitment and is not quarantined shifts. Differentials are the same for all staff positions as discussed. Call required for this position ROTATION is required for this position. Must be able to complete full New Hire Orientation MondayFriday 8am to 4pm with an additional day the following week onTuesday 8am to 4pm.
