Consultant SAP Basis Ref 005974

Responsibilites:

• Architect and implement daytoday SAP basis administration activities in a complex multitier SAP landscape.
• Provide operational and project support keeping focus on meeting project milestones.
• Ensure SAP based systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment.
• Ensure the adherence of standards and SAP best practices.
• Work closely with functional and business teams.
• Be accountable for the support and proactive monitoring of the core SAP applications including installation performance break fixes and change requests per business requirements
• Ensures that changes to SAP are delivered in line with business standards and technicla best practices
• Architect activities during upgrades and major releases with multiple stakeholders working with Change and Release Management teams.
• Research complex application/System integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and nonSAP) for inconsistencies.
• Create detailed solution documentation and presentations.
• Assist with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery SAP solutions.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuity.

• Input to the definition of the solution road map integrating multiple disparate processes and addressing short and long term organizational needs.

Requirements:

• Excellent technical understanding of SAP products with a minimum of 12 years of experience in BASIS support.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP technical architecture with handson experience on SAP systems and Solman.
• Minimun of 5 years of experience managing global SAP BASIS & Solman teams providing support to large SAP multitier environments.
• Good knowledge on OS Windows/Linux administration VMware virtualization NAS/SAN storage failover clustering SAN replication and other high availability technologies.
• Experience working with middleware integration and web technologies for SAP solutions.
• Experience working with Cloud solutions for SAP (installation configuration migration testing support).
