Area Manager (Melt Shop)

• Managing Melting & Casting activities by effectively communicating with all departments we support will be essential in this role.
• Developing team members through building relationships, training and individual coaching.
• Analyzing data and situations, thinking strategically, negotiating effectively and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working collaboratively within the team to motivate and inspire an entire operation as part of the Leadership Team in Sayreville NJ

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years leadership/supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Steel Mill experience with a thorough understanding of Melting & Casting operations, scrap, alloy & refractory inventory management, and all associated processes.
• Steel industry leadership experience
• Strong technical background in operations or maintenance
• Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience
