ETL Associate

1. Analyse multiple datasets and ensure compliance to a common data framework and taxonomy.

2. Execute pre-built scripts and build competency to improve them over a period of time.

3. Understand business context of the underlying data source and calculation methodology of key performance indicators (signals).

4. Execute work plans set up by Senior members of the team and ask clarifying questions in case of conflicting priorities.

5.Ensure strict compliance to legal guidelines while working on data from external and internal sources.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education Required: Incumbent should be a graduate/post graduate from top-tier institute or have pursued a statistical/analytical course from a tier 1 university Preferred: Concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics, or Market Research is strongly preferred.

Work experience:

o Required: 1-3 years of experience in areas related to Data Management, Business Intelligence or Business Analytics. Hands-on experience in data handling, ETL and Python

o Preferred: 2+ years of experience working at a data provider, data business, business intelligence firm; ideally at a firm catering to financial, strategy sectors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

o Previous experience in data quality management and data frameworks

o Current understanding of ETL, SQL and/or Python.

o Ability to combine business context and technical implementation.
