Job Description
Role Objective:
Strategic planning manager will be responsible for assisting Country Managing Director to Develop organization and planning in order to monitor the implementation of Strategy , in addition to assist in developing strategies for business to ensure The overall strategic direction of the company .
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Managing strategic planning department’s activities due to the manager will be responsible for developing and guiding organization’s strategy.
- Keeping company’s operations regarding strategic planning.
- Helping in developing and generalization the company’s strategy.
- Directing and monitoring strategic planning activities & helping, revising, discussing strategic plans and targets to be congruent with organization’s strategy.
- Helping in developing strategies of some matters just as Human Resources, Information Technicality, Marketing and finance ……etc.
- Evaluate external opportunities to clear their effects with our organization like: restricting, evaluating the economy to specify career directions, competitions, local directions, regulations, authority rules and technical developments through .PLESTE. Application:
*Political: any political decisions which would effects on the organization and its strategy.
*Legal: any legal decision which would effects on the organization and its strategy.
*Economic factors: for example fate accidents, severe storms, floods and fires.
*Social: social factors like fashion change, consumption directions which would effect on the organization.
*Technical: modernistic technical discovers which would give the chance to compete in the career.
*Environmental side: authority’s protecting the environment which would force the organization to decrease pollution for example.
- Internal strength evaluation to specify their effects on the company, which includes for example its property, status, customers, financial performance and these inside powers can be specified through SWOT. Analysis.
- Monitoring implementation of the organization’ strategies.
- Rotationally evaluate the original strategy of the company with taking in consideration the managerial directions and priorities (as mentioned before)
- Strategic checking & revising to monitor the extent of development to implement strategy targets and should include these points not to effect on the general strategy plan.
- Following- up and monthly reporting of the company’s implementation of its strategy.
- Ensure that the company’s general strategic plan is consistent with the development plans issued by the government.
Job Requirements
- “Bachelor of Commerce /Business Administration & Strategic Management or equivalent – MBA is Preferred.
- Fluent both Arabic & English languages.
- At least 15 years of experience inFinancial Planning.
- 10 years’ experience in managerial level.
- Matching experience with principles of strategic planning.
