Account Director

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for an established event management company in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire an Account Director who will be responsible for leading the growth and success of the accounts and events.

- Identify and acquire new business that contributes to the growth and success of the Company

- Develop and maintain excellent business relationships and trust with new and existing clients

- Responsible for the financial management of client account(s) and for identifying accurate projected estimates and results

- Accountable for the division’s profit & loss.

- Determine client needs to develop and execute a client development plan and deliver solutions for the client.

- Continuously provide thorough knowledge, insight and communication to clients.

- Effectively manage the learning and development of the account team

Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience as an Account Manager or equivalent

- 7+ years of industry experience with minimum 4+ years in MENA/GCC region

- Flexible work schedule – must be available evenings & weekends.

- Analytically minded with the ability to work with numbers and data to determine solutions.

- Strong budget and critical path management skills

- Strong project management skills. Having the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously

- Strategic thinker, having the ability to lead in the creative efforts & “out of box thinking”
